OUR PROCESS
Separation and divorce are some of the most stressful life events that people experience. Our lawyers will work with you to guide you through the process to obtain a fair result based on your specific circumstances.
-
Our initial meetings are usually 30 - 60 minutes long and you will meet with the lawyer to discuss your situation, your goals, the options available to you and how you would like to proceed.
-
Once you have made a plan for how to move forward with your lawyer, and you decide you want to retain the services of one of our lawyers, you will sign a “retainer agreement”, which is our contract with you. We will need all of your documents and begin acting on your behalf.
-
In family law each file will be unique and will proceed differently. Our lawyers will guide you through each step, discuss your options, risks, benefits and take your instruction on what you would like to do.
