Amelia Cline
Amelia Cline completed her J.D. degree from the University of Ottawa in 2014 and has been practicing in the Fraser Valley since being called to the British Columbia bar in 2015. Amelia assists clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, adoption, child protection, parenting matters, and property division. She has extensive trial experience in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Amelia is dedicated to representing her clients with both expertise and compassion, striving to find cost-efficient and collaborative solutions tailored to the unique needs of each case.
In addition to her legal practice, Amelia is the founder and managing director of Athletes Empowered, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting victim-survivors of abuse in sport and advocating for systemic reforms to create safer environments for athletes. Her advocacy has earned her recognition, and she was named one of the 23 Influential Women in Sport to Watch by the Toronto Star in 2023 and featured in the award-winning documentary, Broken: Inside the Toxic Culture of Canadian Gymnastics. Amelia has made numerous media appearances and has testified before the Parliamentary Committee on the Status of Women in Ottawa, using her platform to raise awareness of abuse in sport and promote positive change within the system. With her legal background and passion for advocacy, Amelia continues to be a leading voice for athletes and victim-survivors alike
