Marta Dean
With over 13 years of experience, Marta has focused her legal practice on wills and estate planning, incapacity planning (Powers of Attorney, medical Representation Agreements), estate administration (probate), and trusts. She doesn’t just dabble in these areas – it’s what she does every day.
Marta obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from UFV in 2004, her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2009, articled at an internationally recognized national law firm in Edmonton, and became a lawyer in BC in 2010. Marta joined Albert & Co. Law in the summer of 2023. Prior to that, she worked with some of the Lower Mainland’s most senior and experienced wills and estates practitioners at full-service law firms.
Originally from Poland, Marta is conversant in Polish (though rusty). She also lived in Athens, Greece, for a few years before moving to Abbotsford as a child. She’s happy to be practising law and raising her family in the Abbotsford community she grew up in. An avid traveller, she’s always up for a chat about faraway places.
